Heart disease touches so many of us—whether it’s a family member, a friend, or even ourselves. By supporting this ride, we’re helping fund vital cardiac services that save lives right here in Far North Queensland.

12 Hour Cycle Relay for Hearts Success

How do you define success? Reflecting on the weekend after our collaborative fundraiser with Roses Riders-riding for Luke. The 12 Hour Cycle Relay was a successful event across many aspects. Yes we raised important funds for our teams which was the aim of the event, however, the day became more than just a fundraiser. It became a community of bike riders of all abilities coming together, celebrated being on a bike, supporting each others journey, sharing stories, lots of laughter, fun, families, food. The event brought the cardiac challenge spirit that was seen across all 12 hours of the event. Participants showing true courage and camaraderie as they challenged them selves and their team mates to step out side their comfort zones and find the magic of achieving big personal goals. This I believe is why I can say the event was successful.

Our community defined the true Cardiac Challenge spirit and success.
