I am fundraising for Annie's Army
In
November 2017, my mum passed away after suffering a severe heart condition. She
spent 4 weeks in the Cairns Cardiac Unit at the Cairns Base Hospital, myself
and my family are so grateful for the attention and care she received, and the
time we got to spend with her before she passed away.
The Lyngcoln family wants to give back by
fundraising for the Cairns Cardiac Unit each year. In early 2018 “Annie’s Army” was established by my family to help
raise much needed funds for the Cairns Cardiac Unit. Our aim is to raise over
$10k per year to hopefully help other families going through tough times via
Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation. So far with your
help on donations and hearty celebrations at our annual fundraising events we have raised
over $120k towards new equipment in the Cairns
Cardiac unit and this year are looking to bring our total over a massive $150k by raising another $30k with your ongoing
support.
