A Personal Journey in the Cardiac Challenge

This year, my partner and I, along with my family and the BLVE Team, are taking on the incredible challenge of riding from Cairns to Cooktown. For us, this ride isn’t just about the physical feat—it’s deeply personal. Both my brother and I have undergone open heart surgery, and heart disease has been a constant in our lives. Our family has faced more than its fair share of cardiac conditions, and we’ve experienced the impact firsthand. This challenge is a way for us to give back, to raise awareness, and to help others who are facing similar struggles.

As we ride, we’re not just thinking about the kms ahead—we’re thinking about every individual and family affected by heart disease. Whether you’re supporting us from the sidelines , contributing to our fundraising, or sharing our journey, every effort counts. It’s a cause that’s close to our hearts, and together, we can make a meaningful difference in the fight against cardiac disease. I’m incredibly proud to be a part of this, and I’m excited to see what we can achieve together.
