Cardiac issues touch so many of us – whether it’s a family member, a friend, or even ourselves. With a genetic cardiac condition in my family and witnessing my mum in hospital with heart failure at the start of the year, cardiac care is something that is very close to my heart. The matching heart necklaces that my mum and I wear are a quiet reminder of her, and of our family’s journey with heart conditions, and why this cause matters so deeply.
