This really depends on your fitness level, allow a minimum of three hours going at a steady pace with a couple of drink and food stops.

Yes, fundraising is at the heart of what we do! Your registration fee helps cover the event costs, but the fundraising component is what truly makes a difference in supporting vital health services. Each participant is required to raise at least $100 — but don’t worry, once you get started, you’ll find it’s easier than you think!

After registering you will instantly receive your own fundraising page which you can personalise with your own picture and story. 

Sharing the link to this page via social media, emails and in person will take donors straight to your own fundraising page.

Yes. All funds collected offline (cash donations only) can be processed by dropping into our office and we can upload the funds to your fundraising page. Remember if you have donors that require receipts for their cash donation you will need to capture their personal details. 

100% of donations from the BDO Arrow Experience:Wangetti Edition will go directly to the health care in Far North Queensland. This is made possible by our social enterprises, which generate profits that cover our operating costs, ensuring charitable donations have the greatest impact.

You can register for the event by clicking the register button on the top of the page. 

Participants should arrive at the Palm Cove Jetty car park at 6.30am for check-in and briefing. Buses will start running from 7am so be ready to jump on to head to the start location. 

Check-in will take place at the Palm Cove Jetty Carpark.

All participants signed up to the event will need to sign in before starting the walk and sign out once completing the trails. 

The following are the terms and condition of entry to the 2026 BDO Arrow Experience: Wangetti Edition (“the event”) July 26, 2026.

The terms are not negotiable and by entering the event via on-line registration and paying the registration fee, you are hereby acknowledging your acceptance of the terms and conditions. (For participants under 18, a parent or guardian accepts the terms by completing the registration.)

I AGREE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENT ON THE FOLLOWING BASIS:

I commit to fundraising the designated minimum fundraising ($100) in donations as part of my participation in the 2026 BDO Arrow Experience: Wangetti Edition. 

I acknowledge that this athletic event is a test of a person’s physical and mental limits and carries with it the potential for death, serious injury and property loss. The risks include but are not limited to actions of other people including, but not limited to, participants, volunteers, spectators, coaches, event officials, event monitors and/or producers of the event; lack of hydration, insect bites and stings, snake and spider bites, weather, and/or other natural conditions. I hereby assume all the risks of participating in this event. 

I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently trained for participation in this event and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical person. I also confirm that I am wearing suitable footwear and clothing and shall bring sufficient water and food with me.  

I acknowledge that this Accident Waiver and Release of Liability (“waiver”) form will be used by the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation, and the sponsors of the event in which I may participate, and it will govern my actions and responsibilities at said event. 

In consideration of my application and permitting me to participate in this event, I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows: (A) Waive, release, and discharge from any and all liability for my death, disability personal injury, property damage, property theft or actions of any kind which may hereafter accrue to me or my traveling to and from this event, the following entities or persons: Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation, and its board, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives and agents, the event sponsors and event volunteers, (B) indemnify and hold harmless all entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from any and all liabilities or claims made by other individuals or entities as a result of my actions during this event. 

I hereby consent to receive medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during this event. 

This waiver shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under the applicable law.  

MEDIA CONSENT
By participating in the 2026 BDO Arrow Experience: Wangetti Edition, I acknowledge and agree that the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation and its authorised representatives may capture photographs, video recordings, or other media of participants during the event. I consent to the use of my image, likeness, and voice in event-related promotional materials, including but not limited to social media, websites, press releases, and other marketing or fundraising efforts, without compensation or further approval. If I do not wish to have my image used, I understand that it is my responsibility to notify the event organisers in writing prior to the event.

CANCELLATION POLICY

A participant who wishes to cancel their registration for the 2026 BDO Arrow Experience:Wangetti Edition and withdraw from the event, will have their registration fee converted to a donation, and will receive a tax-deductible donation receipt.

Note: Any money raised as part of their fundraising commitment to the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation will not be refunded, as it has been raised on the behalf of the Foundation.

A participant who wishes to cancel their registration for the 2026 BDO Arrow Experience and withdraw from the event, will have their registration fee converted to a donation, and will receive a tax-deductible donation receipt.
