I am fundraising for heart patients in Cairns.
I’m excited to share this journey with you again, taking on the challenge of riding to Cooktown to make a real difference in the lives of people in our community. This will be the 7th year riding my bike from Cairns to Cooktown and my 12th year involved with Cardiac Challenge.
Heart disease touches so many of us—whether it’s a family member, a friend, or even ourselves. Little did I know in 2016 when I volunteered, that 4 years latter I would need the services of the Cairns Hospital Cardiology Cath Lab, instead of travelling to Sydney for my heart surgery. Together, we can make a lasting impact through the FNQHF and Australian Retirement Trust Cardiac Challenge.
We’re helping fund vital cardiac services that save lives right here in Far North Queensland. With your support, I'm confident we can change lives for the better.
Every dollar donated is a step closer to better care, more advanced equipment, and improved outcomes for those who need it most. It’s not just a bike ride; it’s a way to give back to the community, inspire others, and show that together, we can achieve something incredible.
