I’m taking on the challenge of riding to Cooktown for one simple reason: to make a real difference in the lives of people in our community. Heart disease touches so many of us—whether it’s a family member, a friend, or even ourselves. By supporting this ride, we’re helping fund vital cardiac services that save lives right here in Far North Queensland.
Every kilometre I pedal is a step closer to better care, more advanced equipment, and improved outcomes for those who need it most. It’s not just a bike ride; it’s a way to give back to the community, inspire others, and show that together, we can achieve something incredible.

Saturday 27th Jun We all know someone or have ourselves had to visit our hospital service and it is with the generosity of amazing people that the FNQ Hospital Foundation is able to contribute to improving the quality of care we can receive close to home!
