Employees and board members of the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation, as well as any immediate family members residing in the same household, are ineligible to purchase raffle tickets. Immediate family includes a spouse or former spouse, de facto partner or former de facto partner, child, stepchild, parent, stepparent, grandparent, grandchild, sibling, or stepsibling who resides with the employee or board member.

Volunteers of the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation are welcome to purchase raffle tickets and participate in the draw.

If you haven’t received your ticket confirmation via email, please check your spam or junk folder. If you still can’t find it, contact us at fundraising@fnqhf.org.au for assistance.

Is my raffle ticket purchase tax deductible?

No, raffle ticket purchases are not tax deductible because you’re receiving an entry into a draw. If you make an additional donation without receiving a ticket in return, that donation may be tax deductible.

Can I get a refund on my ticket purchase?

Do I need to be present at the draw to win?

No, you don’t need to be present at the draw. Winners will be contacted by phone and email, and their names will be published in the Cairns Post Public Notices.

We will attempt to contact the winners by phone on the day of the draw, Monday, June 29, 2026. If we are unable to reach them, a follow-up email will be sent. Winners will also be announced in the Cairns Post Public Notices on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
