In memory of Frank Falappi
It will come as a surprise to some, that Frank Falappi never actually rode Cardiac Challenge.
Nor was he ever registered as a supporter. And yet, support, he did. Both his beautiful wife Colleen and daughters Maddi and Tennille.
He would turn up during the ride and Glenys would say - How are you here Frank, you're not registered?
We know this gave Frank and others endless chuckles (as it did us) and it is just one example of his cheekiness, which we all loved.
It is incomprehensible that his larger-than-life personality is no longer with us.
And so we're asking you to do something for Frank. As many of you know, mountain biking was his passion. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation or the RFDS have been requested by the family. RIP Frank. You'll be missed more than you know.
